Maximize Your Stage Time

February 25, 2026 - 10:00 am

What happens when a room full of leaders — from across South Florida decide to stop being the best-kept secret in the audience?

They show up. They dig in. They work.

That’s exactly what happened at our first “Maximize Your Stage Time” workshop hosted in partnership with the South Florida Business Journal at their Miami Brickell offices on February 25, 2026.

Every single registered attendee walked through the door. And they didn’t come to sit — they came to engage.

The Room That Showed Up

Leaders from Veridian Accountants & Advisors, TD Bank, Crown Castle, The Beacon Council, and BankUnited gathered for 90 minutes of real, hands-on storytelling and speaking training. These weren’t passive attendees — they were contributors. They challenged ideas, laughed together, practiced out loud, and encouraged each other.

One question stopped the room: “Can you remember a single sponsor speaker from any event you attended in the past year — what they said, who they were, what they were selling?” No one could.

That’s the problem we’re solving.

What We Worked On

Through TB Media Group’s proprietary ACTION Storytelling Framework, participants explored the first three components, Align, Collect, and Translate, and applied them directly to their real sponsor speaking scenarios.

Participants walked away with:

•   A reframe on presentation nerves, and why imperfection actually builds trust
•   Tools to align their messaging with audience expectations before they ever step on stage
•   Strategies to collect audience insight and personalize their delivery in real time
•   A clear process to translate business goals into stories that land, not just presentations that inform

Why This Matters

In a world of back-to-back events, sponsored speaking slots are one of the most underutilized business development tools available. Most executives default to product pitches and company overviews. This training is about something different: building trust from the stage in a way that people remember long after the event ends.

As one participant put it: “We cannot forget ourselves. Soft skills matter, and this would be great for our entire leadership team.”

Thank You

Massive gratitude to the South Florida Business Journal — Melanie, Maureen, Christine, and the full SFBJ team — for your partnership, your space, and your commitment to giving your sponsors more than just a microphone.
