Art + Soul 2023

Pérez Art Museum Miami(PAMM) hosted artists, philanthropists, and museum supporters for the tenth annual Art + Soul presented by Northern Trust, the museum’s premier social and fundraising event in support and celebration of the PAMM Fund for Black Art, which allows the museum to purchase and showcase contemporary art by Black artists for its permanent collection.

What an incredible event! PAMM Art + Soul celebrated its 10th anniversary this month — 10 years of raising money for the Black Art Fund and supporting more Black Art. Over $1.4 million was raised! Now that’s something to be celebrated! 🎉🎉

I was on site on behalf of MIA Media Group and MIA Magazine to capture interviews with the evening’s honoree Actor, Activist, and avid art collector, Jesse Williams, as well as the Director of PAMM, Franklin Sirmans, and the featured artist of the night, Willie Cole.

The evening was emceed by the one and only @nekimohan and attended by hundreds who support PAMM’s important mission.

I’ve loved seeing how this event has grown along with Miami’s art and culture scene. Let’s keep it going! 💥
