Anthony Duclair Foundation Launch Event

NHL All-Star Weekend + Black History Month + Anthony Duclair Foundation Launch = this 🔥🔥 mission-driven event.

Florida Panthers player Anthony Duclair kicked off the launch of his foundation at the start of NHL All-Star Weekend, hosted in South Florida this year. His purpose? Make hockey more accessible and inviting for youth of all backgrounds, especially black and brown kids.

According to an article by USA Today, 97% of the NHL is white, while the other 3% is made of different ethnicities.

Duclair shared stories of being called racial slurs at games as a kid, and has had plenty of his own challenging experiences throughout the years on and off the rink. But he’s committed to make a change by letting kids know hockey is for all of us, no matter your background.
