Sales Assistant (Remote – South Florida)

About the Role

TB Media Group is looking for an exceptionally driven, fast-moving, resourceful, and proactive Sales Assistant to join our growing team. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. 

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team throughout various stages of our sales processes. Your responsibilities will span from sales research, event preparation to post-event follow-ups, including prospecting, prospect engagement, and the preparation of proposals. You will collaborate closely with our Creative Director and other team members to ensure that our sales processes run smoothly and efficiently.

The right candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and be able to work accurately when under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be part of a fast-paced team, entrusted with a wide range of unsupervised decisions affecting the prioritization, importance, and speed of our business.  Long story short, this role is NOT short on variety and you will NEVER be bored.

This is a subcontractor position that will start at ~5 hours per week with a lot of room to grow!

Responsibilities May Include

Supporting the CEO with a suite of core services, including:

  • Client intelligence research for events and proposals.
  • Market research to develop and update contact lists for target markets.
  • Maintaining the client delivery process.
  • Assisting with the creation of sales proposals and presentations.
  • Pitch CEO as a speaker at events, conferences, etc.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports. 

Client Prospecting:

  • Researching prospects and engaging with them pre-events.
  • Event networking and gathering contacts.
  • Calling and emailing warm and cold leads.
  • Organizing contacts, sharing event analytics, and following up with prospects.
  • Qualify leads from events, conferences, referrals, and other outlets.

Sales Process:

  • Scheduling discovery and proposal meetings. 
  • Creating and compiling meeting materials and agendas.
  • Attending meetings, preparing minutes and follow-up tasks with meeting participants consistently and with attention to detail.
  • Organizing meeting notes, and conducting follow-ups.
  • Updating the Sales CRM, including data entry, sales records, pipelines, notes, etc.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Attending networking events, speaking events, conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Keeping sales materials/ media kits up to date.
  • Organize and maintain sales materials and resources.
  • Handling incoming sales inquiries.
  • Liaising and communicating with clients to ensure a smooth experience.
  • General sales administrative support.

Airtable, Slack, Zoom, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, GSuite, Zapier, Calendly*, Keap, WordPress, Flodesk, Final Cut Pro.

Systems Our Clients Use

All of the above plus Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Dropbox, Vimeo.
