The holiday season can bring about a time of frenzy, filled with a list of deadlines, exams, gift shopping, holiday parties and closing out the year. With that, can come a feeling of anxiety, stress and little-to-no personal time.  

TB Media Group was built on a love of telling stories about health and happiness. It is why our team at TB Media Group prioritizes health & wellness during this busy season. 

So, for this time of year, we’d like to share our favorite health & wellness podcasts to keep your wellness spirits in check this winter.  

Here’s our team’s list of favorite Health & Wellness podcasts:

  1. Dr. Brooke Goldner has a YouTube channel, Goodbye Lupus, which is at the top of our list. Dr. Goldner’s hyper nourishing protocol helped Tamika, our Founder and CEO, improve her health by leaps and bounds. Tamika was thrilled when Dr. Goldner agreed to come on TB Media Group’s podcast (fun fact: she was the inspiration behind starting the show!) and religiously drinks Dr. G’s hyper-nourishing green smoothies.  You can find more about disease reversal and her green smoothies on her YouTube channel.  
  1. Christina, our team’s Content Strategist, recommends The Art of Being Well with Dr. Will Cole, which launched in January of 2021 and has become a leader in the wellness podcast space. Dr. Cole is a leading functional medicine expert who launched one of the first functional medicine telehealth centers in the world. From discussions on topics of intermittent fasting to hormone imbalance to autoimmune conditions and more, Dr. Cole believes “wellness is a sacred art,” which is expressed in the lightness and grace with which he approaches wellness. Dr. Cole loves his peanut butter and treats, and even offers a healthier alcohol guide for his fans, as he too, enjoys his occasional cocktail or glass of wine. Also a New York Times best-selling author, he most recently released “Gut Feelings: Healing The Shame Fueled Relationship Between What You Eat and How You Feel.”  
  1. The Mindful Minute is one of Account Manager Paige’s go-to podcasts. Teacher Meryl Arnett knows a thing or two about meditation. She started her podcast because she understands how meditation can be frustrating for beginners. How does a novice begin to understand how to pay attention to his/her breath, when your mind just wanders to a grocery list.  How do you learn to focus? This podcast is great for new meditators and meditation professionals alike.  
  1. Happier with Gretchen Rubin With over 95 million downloads, Gretchen Rubin’s podcast is one of the best and a favorite of our team, as it covers such a variety of topics. Choose episodes based on the industry experts who most interest you (yogis, scientists, fashion designers), or try her shorter episodes called “A Little Happier.” There is a wellness topic for everyone in her wide array of information.  
  1. The Rich Roll Podcast , recommended by our Operations Manager Emily, is about Unlocking your best self. Each week Rich dives deep into all things wellness with some of the most intelligent and forward thinking minds in health, fitness, nutrition, art, entertainment, entrepreneurship and spirituality. These are not just interviews, they are conversations designed to provoke, educate, inspire and empower you to uncover and unleash your best and most authentic self.  
  1.  Lift U Up: Inspiring Health Stores illustrates the intersection of storytelling, health and happiness. Our Founder and CEO, Tamika Bickham goes 1-on-1 with entrepreneurs, pro athletes, community leaders and nonprofits, who are fulfilling their purpose to live their healthiest and happiest lives, while helping all of us do the same. Tamika’s guests have survived near death experiences, a life-threatening brain virus, a pandemic that shuttered their businesses, and career-ending injuries, to name a few. Her guests are getting vulnerable, sharing their challenges and successes, and how health was the center of it all. Lift U Up is an award-winning podcast offering that extra motivation we all could use on our journey to healthier and happier living. 
  1. Mindset Mentor is a favorite of our SEO specialist, Jennifer. The Mindset MentorTM podcast is designed for anyone desiring motivation, direction and focus in life. Host Rob Dial has amassed over 3 million social media followers, business professionals and entrepreneurs with his passion and expertise for helping motivate people to become the best version of themselves. In his podcasts, Rob combines topics of neurology, psychology, early childhood development and more, so that listeners can understand the way our brains and bodies work together. When you understand yourself, it is much easier to make a plan to change and succeed. When you master your mindset, you master your life.     
  1. Hope4Med, recommended by our entire team, is a podcast, created by Dr. JB, focused on helping Healthcare professionals lead a well-balanced life. Dr. JB, an accomplished physician and frontline worker, has witnessed the adverse effects that the healthcare system can have on patients and healthcare professionals.
